Q:There is a file cabinet we would like to use but do not have the keys. The key core appears to have FY13 on it. But I cannot find the appropriate key on your website. The model number listed inside the drawer is RLFL8425F. Can I still get a key that will work with this unit?Asked on 1/22/2015 by Michelle from Lexington KY
This appears to be what we call a Universal Lateral File, so yes it is one of our products. Unfortunately each of these products can have a different key number.
Can you take a closer look to the lock face ring? There should be a "FR" and a 3 digit number. This is the key number and with this you can order a replacement key (click on the link below).
Now, if you are unable to determine the key number, you can replace the lock cylinder, for this you can contact one of our authorized dealer and they will assist you.

Q:I have a pre-97 2dwr 30" lateral file. I want to use letter size hanging files. What do I need to convert it? 2 double edge channel bars + two file bars for the outboard edge? or no separate outboard edge and the file frames ride on the top edge of the drawer?
Can I run the letter size laterally? What tools do I need for this?

Q:FR series lock cylinders are offered as "standard keyed random". I need a cylinder keyed to a specific key series and number to standardize the four locks in my installation.
