Can you ship outside the United States?
Yes, we can ship to Ontario, Canada and soon hope to be able to ship to the rest of Canada. If you are shopping from Canada please note that everything on our site is priced in US$. Your credit card company will convert your purchase into the equivalent fee in $CND. Click here to reference the current currency exchange rates. Also, please note that shipments to Canada will include a 15% upcharge based on the subtotal (before tax amount) of your order. The 15% upcharge is in US$. If you are interested in our products and you reside outside of the United States or Ontario, Canada please visit one of your local Steelcase Dealers or an Authorized Steelcase Retailer.

What shipping options do I have?
Most of our products are make-to-order and ship in 6-8 business days and will arrive to your shipping address in 1-4 business days. We do, however, stock our best-selling chairs (Leap Next Day, Think Next Day, Think 3D Knit Next Day,Leap Lounge), and we ship those soon after receiving your order. Many orders ship via Fed-ex ground, but many larger items, fragile items, and product that requires assembly ship via our White Glove Service.
What will my shipping charges be?
All products sold on Steelcase Store with delivery in the United States have the shipping cost included in the price. This applies to products that ship via Fed-ex Ground and products that ship via White Glove Delivery.
Products shipped to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii will be assessed a 15% upcharge to cover additional freight charges as well as customs and duty fees. The 15% upcharge is calculated based on the subtotal of your order (before tax) and is in US$. So, if your order subtotal was $100 you would be charged a $15 upcharge on shipping.
When will my order ship?
Most seating products ship within 6-8 business days of an order. We do, however, stock the base models of two of our best-selling chairs (Leap Next Day, Think Next Day, Think 3D Knit Next Day,Leap Lounge), and we ship those soon after receiving your order. Many of the higher-end furniture pieces have a longer lead time. Please see each individual item page for more information on when a specific item ships. Also, after placing your order, you may click the ”My Account” link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. You will receive a shipment confirmation when your order has shipped and tracking information within 24-48 hours of shipment.
What is White Glove Delivery?
White Glove Delivery service is required on most of our larger items, fragile items and products that require substantial assembly. When White Glove Delivery is required, we include this in the product price for your convenience. White Glove Delivery includes a delivery appointment, inside delivery, assembly and installation in your room of choice and removal of all packing materials. The delivery window for White Glove service is 7-10 days from the day your order ships. Here is how it will work:
1) Your item(s) will be transported to a local delivery agent via a line-haul carrier (note: you will be notified when your order ships to the local delivery agent)2) The local delivery agent will thoroughly inspect the items to assure that they are in deliverable condition.
3) The local delivery agent will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. Deliveries are made between the hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday and will be scheduled as a 4 hour window of your preference.
4) Upon delivery please inspect the item(s). You will be required to sign a Proof of Delivery receipt. Please note any damage on this receipt or, if refusing a delivery due to damage, please note ‘refused due to damage’ on the receipt. If you do not note the damage, we will be unable to issue and credits or replacement shipments.
Where is White Glove Delivery available?
White Glove Delivery Service is available in most areas within the Continental US. Additional delivery fees are required if you are located outside of a regular delivery service area. If you are located outside of the regular delivery service area you will be notified by email of additional delivery charges before your order is shipped.
Please note, extraordinary delivery conditions may require an additional fee to be paid and delivery is not available to Alaska or Hawaii.
