These file folder arms will fit a select group of 42" wide Steelcase file cabnets.  Please review the following first few characters of your Model Numer to confirm your specific file cabinet series. You will still need to confirm your date of manufacture.

	900 Series   - (942)   - (9LF1842)	800 Series   - (842)   - (8LF1842)
	Firstfile 100 Series   - (142)   - (1LF1842)	Answer Series   - (ALF1842)
	Firstfile 200 Series   - (242)   - (2LF1842)

Because not all file folder rails will not work with all cabnets, you will need to identify your exact model of file cabinet and the date of manufacture. Please follow these steps to identify your specific file cabinet. Open the top drawer of the file cabinet. Locate the manufacturing sticker underneath the cabinet lid. Copy the file cabinet Model Number and Date of Manufacture from this sticker. Match both the Date of Manufacture and the Model Number.
