Comments about Steelcase Amia Chair, Fabric:
I really like most things about this chair, but almost every time I get up, the top of the armrest moves. Over half of our office just got these and I've heard the same complaint from several people. It would be great if there was a way to lock the armrest in place!!

Comments about Steelcase Amia Chair, Fabric:
I work from home often into the evening.... I do not even go to the couch for TV watching but do it from my desk where I am most comfortable.
I recently bought an Ipad for couch reading and find I still prefer the desk in your chair.
Many thanks

Comments about Steelcase Amia Chair, Fabric:
I use it mostly for my home office, and it's been great so far. It's a very solid, customizable chair at a good price. I was hesitating between this, the Leap and the Aeron. I tried them at a store, and found this one having the best comfort/value ratio. The Aeron felt dated and didn't feel that comfortable, and I didn't feel like I needed the additional features of the Leap. This is great.

Comments about Steelcase Amia Chair, Fabric:
One feature that makes this chair so much better than most expensive office chairs (aeron etc.) is the ability to adjust the height and tension of the lumbar support. The base and back of the chair also have the perfect level of cushioning. I've had this chair for six months and it has greatly improved my chronic back pain (which previously stopped me from working full time).
